I liked Malcom at Beausoleil pre covid.

He's a sweetie.

I don't know if I have a favorite bartender, but my best friend is one, so I guess I have to say him.

If you were around LSU in the 90's, then I'm sure you remember that huge guy named Zuke, probably close to 6'10" and had to weigh 400#. Funny story, I was working the door at the Note one night and he walks out with a drink in his hand and asked if he could leave with it. I told him "well, I certainly can't stop you"

I know exactly who you're talking about. I saw that big arse dude get lifted on top of the crowd at a Pearl Jam concert in 1994. It took about 10 people but they got him up.

There was a gal at Recess in Corpus Christi that was the most beautiful bartender I had ever seen. She was so attractive that it seemed like she tried to make herself less attractive with random tattoos everywhere. Very personable and knew her drinks. She randomly left after a year or two though. Not sure where she ended up. Twas a sad day post golf course.

I ran into Zuke and his family in Key West a few years ago. His daughter was a freshman at LSU at the time.

My favorite, when she was still working, was a wee Irish gal who worked at Finn McCool's on Banks St. in Mid-City.
Fiona at Mick’s pre-K.

Had no idea if she could even make ice cubes, but she was my favorite.

Used to be a bouncer at The Tiger Bar back in the early 90s. I got into a drinking contest w/ Geert Hammink. It was an amazing sight seeing a guy next to Zuke who was bigger than him.

Oh man the Happy Note. Tommy was one of the owners I think, and the resident bookie. Tall lanky bartender was Jack and he poured the stiffest drink in BR. Tommy took me and another regular on a "Collection" ride once without telling us what we were getting into, nobody died.

So she’s maybe mid-60s now. Wonder if she aged well?
