Taylorsville, they got this Ward's there that uses way too much salt on the fries.

I have a soft spot for Hattiesburg since I graduated from USM, but downtown Ocean Springs is the nicest place to go out at night in Mississippi.

I also enjoy going to Oxford every other year for the LSU game. If you can't have a good time in The Square, you're just not a fun person.

Jackson. The cultural influence there is a sight to behold.

I am from Vicksburg. I am sure there are parts of MS that are nice to visit but I haven't found one to visit other than going to see relatives. Natchez is crap (getting better though). These towns hardly conserve the history outside of federal parks. Port Gibson has some beautiful homes but is one of the worst places I have ever driven through.

Vicksburg is weirdly spaced out and has horrible restaurants and nightlife. It's a pass through town with only the military Park to go through.

The Natchez trace is amazing but again, it's only a scenic drive. Starkville is boring. I went to school there and only liked being there because of my friends.

Hadn't spent much time in Oxford or Hattiesburg to really form an opinion

Gulf Coast has some nice places.

I've have always liked the cruise out to Ship Island. I enjoy touring the Fort. The park rangers Camille stories have been complemented with Katrina stories.
