Visiting my parents in Westbank JP and everything is so quiet. It’s kind of nice not dealing with traffic after coming from Austin. Also, Little Palestine engulfing more of the Westbank each year.

CHS, SC is quiet today. Went for a bike ride earlier and not a lot of people out. Pool is pretty dead too.

I’d like to know where everyone was yesterday in Morgan City.. I hadn’t been there since like 1996, but it looked like a ghost town. Hiway 90 going through town was all boarded up and almost everything has closed that was once there.. very depressing going through what used to be a very vibrant city..

I don’t think the westbank has a lot of people who work and appreciate Labor Day anymore. It’s just another unemployed Monday for most of them.
