Livonia or Krotz Springs

Marksville isn't a bad spot. Maybe between Marksville and Alexandria.
But you also have to remember, Livingston Parish is closer to at North Louisiana parish.. So there is parts of South La that is more redneck than Cajun.

Redneck goes all the way to the coast on the west side of Calcasieu, and on the Northshore before it became a suburb of New Orleans. Cajun country extends to nearly Ellick in the central part of the state.

generally speaking, where hardwoods (oaks, pecan) turn to pines, with an overlapping area of intermingling...

North & South near the river?
The Old River Locks on Hwy 15 north of Lettsworth.

Bunkie is where Cajun meets hood. As soon as you cross the Red River into Effie you’re pretty much in redneck land with a hint of coonass.

Avoyelles Parish around Bunke or Marksville.
Jeff Davis Parish to Allen Parish.
Pine Prairie to Turkey Creek.
There’s not a definite line but there’s roughly a line that’s around highway 10 in south central LA.

North Louisiana and Paradise shouldn't be in the same sentence.

Calcasieu and Allen are definitely more “crossroads” than Cajun country. North shore is not greater New Orleans. Basically decrease “plantation country” and “greater New Orleans” and add “Florida parishes” because that is definitely it’s own thing.
Florida parishes go from EBR all the way to Tammany along I-12.

I mean if you like no traffic, less people, less crime, countryside, hills, pine trees, traditional Deep South culture and good outdoor opportunities like I do then hell yeah it’s paradise.
I don’t see why we can’t love both south and north LA. They both offer cool shite

Florida Parishes are redneck to me.
My good buddy is half redneck and half Cajun, calls HIMSELF a RedAss.

Nah. St Landry parish is definitely Cajun. Opelousas isn't necessarily though because it's more of a small city. Probably more creole than Cajun in Opelousas. According to Wikipedia:

With an area of 7.5 square miles, Opelousas is the most densely populated incorporated city in Louisiana.
Regardless though, the Cajun/Redneck nexus is somewhere in Avoyelles Parish.

Don’t travel far enough north to know, but I’d guess Morgan City
