Yankees Cajuns live on the coast and live off the water.

The Cajun Triangle runs in a semi-straight line up from Lake Charles to Marksville, then down and along the river, crossing south of Baton Rouge encompassing the River Parishes and finally back West to the Texas/Louisiana Line.

At Baton Rouge, somewhere between Manchac and Ponchatoula, at Marksville, and between Jennings and Lake Chuck.

People really think Cajuns live in Baton Rouge and New Orleans?

Yes, they do apparently. I’ll give it along the river leaving NOLA up to say Gonzales, and toward Manchac, and then of course anything on the other side of the river up to probably Jennings, and as far north as Marksville. Much of that on the east side of the river is mixed with French Creole and Cajun I’d say though.

If you're from north of I-10 you are not to be trusted.

South and west of New Orleans, Mamou and south, East of Lake Charles. If that doesn't work, try Legends in New Iberia.
