Did you just compare the acceptance of segregation to the holocaust?

Then speak up about it. The Irish of America today seem to be doing alright. The Indians who were able to the survive Andrew Jackson attempt to wipe them off the face of the earth however, are not doing so good though. You won't do shite to help them because you identify with the white part of your family tree. You just like people to know you are 1/1000000000 native american, I bet you don't even know what tribe you belong to
Alibamu and Coushatta, two generations removed from full blooded on my paternal side, three removed on my maternal side. Sorry I don't match your narrative very well there. I identify with all sides of my heritage. My family has done everything by the sweat of their own back and don't need my help, nor would they take it if they did. You gotta love racist asshats like yourself that assume because I am white that I don't know my ancestory, which I'm sure I know far more of than you do of yours.

To address the color of the skin comment you made, yes it had something to do with why the african slaves demanded a higher price, because they could work longer hours without succumbing to the heat due to their evolution to withstand the conditions in Africa. My point was that slavery was not a product of skin color, but rather simply a capitalistic way to get rid of prisoners and ones enemies.

I want restitution from the black slave seller because my taxes are higher because of black welfare because they should still be in Africa. This is what I teach my white kids, that blacks owe us white people restitution.

Why not they continuously killed, beat, raped, and lynched my people a good two decades after the holocaust. I'm not trying to make this a dick measuring contest between which was worst.

Every race has been enslaved. You should just say slavery is wrong.

Actually in America, we haven't made 400 years yet - initially, slavery in the Colonies was of the indentured form, and it included caucasians, as well. Looks like the form of slavery we all associate with didn't begin in America until 1676, and really gain traction until the 18th Century:

quote:

Slavery The British were reluctant to institute slavery in their new American colonies. They largely relied on indentured servants in the 17th century. Indentured servants sold their freedom for a period of years in exchange for passage to the New World. At the end of their time of indenture, the freed man was accorded all rights of other free colonials.

quote:

In 1625, there were only 23 Africans present in the colony of Virginia, according to historian Betty Wood. Thirty-five years later, this number had only increased to 950, just about three to four percent of the colony's population. The colony had many more indentured servants, and historians like Edmund Morgan argue that the living conditions and treatment of indentured servants were largely indistinguishable from that of slaves.During this period, slaves of African descent and white indentured servants often worked, socialized and even ran away from their masters together.

quote:

In 1676, Nathaniel Bacon led both white and black men against the leaders of the Virginia colony, in what became known as Bacon’s Rebellion. Fearing this display of unity among poor whites and blacks, Virginia instituted a system of racial slavery and phased out indentured servitude. Masters began to hold Africans against their will, refusing to free them after their period of indenture. This process hardened into racial slavery by the 18th century.

I don't give a shite how they feel, but you can't say you are proud of them cause of your southern heritage blah blah blah but the minute slavery is mention the dialogue turns to I never owned slaves I had nothing to do with it don't blame me. I don't support slavery
You do realize that Maryland was a slave state, right? You do also realize slavery wasn't abolished until three years into the war, yes? The St. Andrew's cross has been a sign of rebellion against over reaching governments since the Scott's created it when they saw an x of clouds against the sky when they went into battle against the anglos. If you want to cite the usage of stars and bars due to its use during the Civil Rights movement in opposition of treating other Americans fairly, then I will stand with you. DO not try to equate slavery and the secession of the southern states as your reasoning, as you've already proven you know too little to defend such a stance.

People tend to forget that some in Union (including military leaders) were bigger racists and weren't fighting the war because they cared so about abolishing slavery so much.

Congratulations, there is no award for that. You think just because you are white you are the only race that works hard and earn everything yall have aquired?

Yea you weren't striped of your culture and force by the white man to adopt another. Maybe the Indian side but not your irish side.

I for one do not feel entitled to complain about the hardships of my ancestors. I certainly don't feel entitled to any form of reparations because I did nothing to earn them. I want to earn everything, not what I just decide I deserve. What makes you so fricking special?

So I guess I could say fairly by your definition:

There is a holocaust ongoing every day perpetrated within the black community in urban American.

The black on black crime in this country vastly outnumbers anything that occurred in the civil rights era. But nobody gives a rats arse about it.

NEWS frickING FLASH

The holocaust was WAY WORSE. Its not even debatable. Acts like the holocaust and slavery OF ALL races are some of the most atrocious acts of humanity.

Someone being beat or raped while horrible but does not belong in the same subject matter.

Being lynched is horrible but does not quite equate into being starved, tortured killed then turned into fricking soap for the next in line to bathe with.

Probably had nothing to with an already thriving trade route between Europe and Africa pre-dating the slave trade by a few hundred years. It's not like gold, wheat, diamonds, spices, or oils were traded between Europe and Africa for a thousand years before the colonization of america or anything.

If black people were the only ones on welfare you may have a point, but since 40% of welfare goes to white people you should ask you sister, mom, or uncle for that restitution.
