Well then, that settles it.
Any reparations paid out to US AAs should be paid by African nations.

The Africans still, to this day, are enslaving their own people.

By Egypt? For enslaving them? No they weren't
Israel was paid reparations by West Germany for the Holocaust.

Fair enough. Then don't take pride in any American achievement before your birth date.
You can't selectively decide which part of history you can taken on.

Why were dark slaves sent to work in the field while the slaves who were lighter in complexion worked in the house?

Then speak up about it. The Irish of America today seem to be doing alright. The Indians who were able to the survive Andrew Jackson attempt to wipe them off the face of the earth however, are not doing so good though. You won't do shite to help them because you identify with the white part of your family tree. You just like people to know you are 1/1000000000 native american, I bet you don't even know what tribe you belong to.

Shhh.....haven't you been following?
When SJWs hit that barrier years ago, that's when they went back to the drawing board and came up with institutional racism as a talking point.
You personally are participating in a system that conducts in acts of racism even if you don't realize it!

So tell us.. What are you proud of?? Nothing? Nothing of any sorts?
To be proud of any part of your heritage it has to be completely clean of any wrong doing? So I guess you are either a hypocrite or proud of absolutely nothing.

This thread has gone exactly how I thought it would on the OT.

Possible alternative explaination: lighter skinned ones were progeny of either the current or past owners. Once there, slaves of that linage stayed even if the original reason was forgotten.
And don't act like dark=fields and light= inside was a universal distinction.

Any American achievement...such as?
I don't feel the slightest bit of guilt regarding slavery, because I had no part in it. Am I ashamed that it is a prevalent part of our history...yea, slavery is a terrible thing. No human being should be the property of someone else. But to feel guilty about it would require admitting that I did something wrong, which I have not.

I wish I had some slaves
One to cut my grass
One to do karate in my yard
One fat chick to cook me food
One Mexican chick to clean my house (and not steal stuff)
One Chinese one to do my dishes
One black chick to walk around twerking all day
A midget one to make funny noises when I'm feeling blue
One white one to take care of other "services"

That does not remove guilt from the whites in America. The blacks that sold each other into slavery is just as guilty as the white man in America. Who created the demand for this slave labor?
So white people should be guilty for someting their ancestors did? They should feel it was wrong, but guilty? Dude I'm not even white and that sounds ridiculous.

I get it they should be proud tho because their ancestors fought for a terrorist group known as the Confederacy.

I don't give a shite how they feel, but you can't say you are proud of them cause of your southern heritage blah blah blah but the minute slavery is mention the dialogue turns to I never owned slaves I had nothing to do with it don't blame me. I don't support slavery.

What about whites whose ancestors didn't own slaves?
Should we be guilty due to what other whites did 150+ years ago?

My curiosity about all the new talk of Confederate soldiers were evil people fighting FOR slavery (and nothing else)
What were all the white people that died wearing blue fighting for?
I guess they were not the US because the US is/was/will forever be racists.
If people speak in absolutes like that then obviously it must be true that hundreds of thousands of white men died so a black man could be free right today right?? There is your reparations.. Paid for in BLOOD by the US.

You are trying to deny the fact that the same country that enslaved people saw fit to force another country to pay out reparations for mass genocide(which they deserve). At the same time promoted segregation. Can you not see how fricked up that is?
