E: All over the place. I vote Right just as often as Left. Capitalism with some regulation. Socially pretty Lib. Pro 2A. I detest all politicians and extremes of both Left and Right.

I would say F.

The political compass tells me:

Economic Left/Right: -4.88
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -7.08

Whether they recognize it or not, the MAJORITY of Americans fall between B-F. However, catering those folks don't generate clicks are ratings on TV. So the two extremes are often the loudest in the room and are sold to the public by the useless media as being the "norm" of both side.

Unfortunately, most Americans are too lazy or too stupid to undertake the minor bit of critical thinking it takes to realize media perception is not "reality". We as citizens are much more similarly situated today than at any point in our nation's history. That's not good for the media business model though. The breadth of information sources as never been greater. So to stand out, division and divisiveness is the only way.

I'm guilty of of it too at times. But if you just turn off the Fox News, CNN, ABC/CBS/NBC, etc, quit obsessing over social media, and get out and interact with your neighbors, you'll find the political spectrum kind of melds together

Right Leaning.

Though, most of the positions I hold on things are not moderate. It's that they are usually firmly on what would be considered one side or the other. Average them out, and it's somewhere in the middle just over to the right.

Now when I say this, I mean traditionally. At this point, given how far left the left has lurched, I'm probably considered by them to be way on the right.

I'm a Nihilist. I don't believe in political systems or Governments at all. I don't believe in the USA, or the US Declaration of Independence or the US Constitution.

I believe in brute force, bribery, intrigue, and betrayal, because, these are the instruments of worldly power. History proves that the future belongs to the Strong - those willing to ruthlessly use the instruments of power to seize and then consolidate that power.

There will always be plenty of my fellow humankind willing to prove my Nihilism to be true and correct as the prism through which to view our world.

I've been a Nihilist most of my life, and will be for the rest of my life.

But, I'm not like the Nihilists in "The Big Lebowski" because I don't practice my Nihilism - I simply am convinced that Nihilism is the way that the world works.

I love the scene where Walter explains to Donny that the motorcycle guys are "nihilists."

Enjoy observing the History of the USA further unfold before your very eyes. It will be interesting indeed.

I respect this particular political position the most, but, it's a totally unrealistic position in that there's no chance at all that the USA will ever be governed by that political philosophy. None.

I will continue to vote, though.

I’m D.

Liberal on many social issues, however, staunchly against all the BS protesting this summer and i’m 100% for “back the blue”.

Fiscally, I recognize the need for some government, but agree that our leaders are absolute trash, and the over-legislation (while well intended) is mostly a net negative.
