We had a small New Years celebration in the country with some friends. I went and bought sparklers for the younger kids. $12.
I saw a family in front of me buy $800 in fireworks and then get into a jalopy old van.

That corner house near the interstate at the roundabout on Lake Prien Road in Lake Charles has been shooting them off since 7. I’m about a mile down the road and you can hear them.
