Had a discussion with someone about it. I find it odd IF the starting QB hasn’t bought a house here.

Why would Winston buy and not rent?

Way back in the 70s players like Ken Bordelon and Jim Kovach lived in West End area as did Kenny Stabler.

Ironhead Heyward lived in an apartment in NO East. Pat Swilling was one of the first in Eastover. Hebert lived in Mandeville . Derland Moore lived in Metairie off Vets near Causeway.....owned a sports bar on Ridgelake back in the 90s. Morton Andersen had built a house off Jefferson Hwy in River Ridge.

I could spend $6 million a lot better than that. Don’t really care for the inside.

Morten had a bar & grill at Lakeside Shopping Center in the 90s. It’s where Pottery Barn is now.

While most of his Saints teammates live near the team facility in Metarie or Kenner, Kamara decided to move downtown, into a ground-floor apartment, his floor-to-very-high-ceiling windows facing directly out to the street and the people on them. He walks home from games, from the Superdome to his front door, amid the revelry and the hordes of adoring fans; down Canal Street to high-end fashion stores to browse; around the block to get breakfast at the Ruby Slipper or to pick up groceries

Does he have a time machine? What Canal Street are they looking at?

I think I hit a tee shot on Mag 8 that probably hit his window. That thing hasn't stopped slicing yet.

Seeing as how that property is on the Oak back 9, that’s doubtful

I don’t know shite about NOLA, but a lot of football and baseball players don’t live where you think they do. Those guys don’t make THAT much and most of them either have a home or plan to buy a home where they eventually want to end up, so they just live in the city where it’s most convenient for them or their family. A lot of them aren’t necessarily in baller neighborhoods.

Now basketball players and the guys making $10+ mil a year are different. But yeah a condo or home close to the facilities is very normal.

Danny Abramowitz lived on Green Acres Court between Avron and the lake.
I've seen Zach Strief in the Rouse's in Mandeville. He's a very large man.

Yep, quite a few in Old Metairie. Jrue lived next door to my nephew's friend, and Coach Monty and his family lived next to a fellow volunteer coach at Pontiff.

For the short time they were here, James Laurinaitis lived across the street from me two doors down, and Darius Miller (Pelicans) lived just around the corner from me.

Laurinaitis and his wife were real nice, down-to-earth people.

He was renting in the parks, but just built a brand new house in that same subdivision. Talked to him a few weeks ago and said he’d be completely moved in soon. Beautiful house in a quiet neighborhood. Passed by yesterday and it still looks somewhat empty but he lives there

Al is a really cool guy. He’s one of those dudes you see on tv and he acts the same exact way in person

Forgetting the taste in decor, it would be really hard to find a better property than that in all of Louisiana.
