We gave in. The alphabet people said they just wanted gay marriage. They wanted it supposedly for spousal support. Like real married folks. You know, man and wife stuff. So we did. They said that’s all we want. So they got it. And exactly why we fought so hard back then to prevent, is what we got now.

They certainly are related. The OP was about police not knowing if the accused was male or female and the presence of semen. If there was semen present and it was produced by the accused (I did not read anything other than the OP so I am assuming that's what the cops are saying) there is NO question as to what biological sex the accused is...they are a male human being, period, end of story. The "confusion" stems from the manmade construct of gender which describes characteristics of what society deems men and women in the same way society describes characteristics of race. You can perform a test to determine sex, you can perform a test to determine if someone is human, you can not perfom a test to determine their race nor their gender...it can not be done and will never be something that can be done because there is nothing to test for...both concepts, gender and race, are man made constructs which others (society) determine for individuals. Neither is a biological fact...being human is, being male or female is. Being black is categorically not and being a man is categorically not...both of these concepts have evolved to pigeonhole individuals into groups in order for the people in control to hold onto control over individuals. This knowledge is not new, we have known it for a LOOOOOOOOONNNNNNGGGGGG time, but it is so steeply ingrained into our psyches we struggle to reconcile our fee fees with our knowledge. Race and gender are feelings based concepts made up by man, biological sex and animal species are simply biological facts.

In what ways would blacks and poor white folks be better off? First off they were poor PEOPLE to begin with, their being black or white is meaningless because race only exists in the mind of man, it is not real. 42% of "black" people in the US in 1966 lived below the poverty line and about 24% of all people in the US did. Those numbers are now somewhere in the neighborhood of 26% and 15%. Those numbers are based on income ALONE. They do not include supplemental elements that are legacy elements of the either the new deal or the great society / war on poverty like food stamps, housing subsidies, transportation subsidies, child care subsidies, health care subsidies and a host of things which are not counted in the income of those living under the poverty level. Removing all of those makes the effort a booming success at curtailing poverty...when they are added, which they certainly should be, the success rate is the best of any legislation ever passed in the United States. The only way that poor people would be better off without those programs would be that they would be free to find a way to provide succor for themselves by any means necessary, something that has never been a positive for any society which devolved into such a state.
The new deal and subsequent progressive programs were initially implemented to prevent a Bolshevik style takeover of the United States, a very stark reality in the 1930s. Franklin Roosevelt did not come to Warm Springs Georgia and suddenly become a benevolent benefactor of the poor and down trodden...he became a realistic member of the American aristocracy who fully understood the gravest danger his kind had ever faced in the history of western civilization. He had a sense of history and fully understood what happened to the Aristocracy when the masses had been pushed as far against the wall as they could tolerate being pushed. He was able to convince enough of his contemporaries of the disaster they were facing and made some minor adjustments that held the masses at bay. Those measures, minor at best to address the actual issues, have managed to do exactly what the intent of the Aristocracy was...maintain their positions of wealth and power. Almost every politician elected to office since, regardless of party affiliation, have managed those polices with the exact same ideas in mind.

To repeat: we went wrong as a society when it became acceptable in large swaths of the country for law enforcement to - at the very least - look the other way when church-going mobs of citizens were murdering other human beings and having their children pose for pictures with burnt, hung corpses. Also, in some areas, there were "lynching postcards" - imagine sending someone a happy postcard commemorating the incident in the picture. That was really a thing. Talk about macabre (and evil).
That is an almost unthinkable level of moral rot to recover from. Yet most of you dullards want to blame it on the 19th amendment or birth control. It's patently clear that when women weren't voting or having casual sex, plenty of shite was absolutely evil and haywire in this country.

While the first statement is categorically and demonstrably inaccurate the second statement is indeed spot on...shortly after the second world war we did indeed crate a welfare system which brought with it a built in voting base for the GOP...it was the military industrial complex which has expanded to nearly the entirety of the US industrial complex.

frick all of this. 75% of crime, and 90% of violent crime, is attributed to one race that is 13% of the population. Black people are more cruel to each other than white people have even been to blacks, and that includes slavery. Black people have been enslaving their own, and continue to do so to this very day, since they have existed.
