Stop being lazy and talk about the positives.

Bad mindset. You should tell people to quit being lazy, to take care of their property and not raise their kids to be shitbags. Talking about the positives is a cope. There's plenty of areas with sports teams , good entertainment, and good food.

My humble opinion is somewhere in the state of North Carolina. It has access to mountains, beach and city areas, gets all four seasons definitively, and tons to do/fun culture.

live in Baton Rouge. I've never been shot. I've never been robbed or burglarized. I've never been scared to go anywhere but I'm also smart enough to know where not to go. I've raised my family with no issues whatsoever. I thrive at my job and have become rich. Cost of living is cheap on average.

I would love a nice rural area in the woods/mountains but finding a decent job for me and my wife in my field is nearly impossible for me. I would settle for a nice suburb in Texas or Florida as a second choice.

We just bought a spot to build on down near Pinehurst. Looking forward to moving back to Carolina.

1 hour from New Orleans with a professional football and basketball team, international airport, unique culture, historic significance, wonderful first class dining.

This is such an overrated part of New Orleans. Other mid sized cities have caught up to, and probably passed, New Orleans as a food city. There are great dining options everywhere these days.

Feel like it’s gotta be North Carolina or somewhere in Tennessee.

Every state can meet this criteria. But it is really up to the individual. I am a warm weather guy. I'll never live more than 3-4 hours from an ocean.
