Upon further investigation perhaps it was a misunderstanding and not done in malice

Agreed, that is why I qualified it with “if”. That is a danger with these messages boards, people pop off and have no idea who they are really addressing or how it may be taken.

I feel horrible. I really had no idea. Only intended to play off the previous post about giving up your first born child for a Bob Ross painting. I am sincerely sorry for any painful memories I brought up......Can’t even imagine how hard that is.

I remember in a Bob Ross documentary they said someone stole several of his paintings from a truck, so I wonder where those black market pieces are now. Apparently they were his reference paintings -- he would do the first version to see if it's something he could demonstrate in the 20-something minute time block, then the second painting done on the show might be a little different.

Hey, it's cool. It is very hard to walk in my shoes. As a Dad, I question if I fail at life giving the love I have for my two kids. I live with this every day and pray that the Good Lord takes me soon.
So, Bob's painting are in demand? Got this one from a yard sale 30 years ago out of New Orleans. Paid $12 for it.
My daughter had always loved it and I will give it to her. Should be good to go with the Picasso that her husband's uncle gave them. Dude has some real nice art, but he is way way out in left field.
