I’m 29 and honestly have never written one for myself. My parents had me fill out there’s for them a couple times to teach me but that’s it .

I write 1 check per month for my water bill because I don't want to pay the $5.95 fee to pay online.

I write one every week for my yard guy. He only takes checks or cash and I never have cash. That's it though.

Yesterday for a propane delivery.

Checks are also my weapon of choice for donations to specific charities.

I wrote one last month for the 1st time in a long time. I only did it to open a new account, closing the old one, since I moved 5 years ago and the old one doesn't have any locations within 90 miles. New one is about a mile away but will put me in the same position if I outlive 85 year old mom and move elsewhere, like for my med stuff.

All you folks need better illegals.

My yard people, Honduran maid, hell… even a roofer recently, all take VenMo.

2-3 times a month. For some bills a check is free and a credick card has a surcharge. In those cases I use a check.

I write one every month for our country club membership. They still add on something insane like 5% for CC charges .
