I've always had an interest in the JFK assassination, but had never been to the site. Last year my son and I were watching a documentary about the assassination. He said, "Hey, let's go to Dallas." I figured why the frick not, so a couple of weeks later we went. Spent a a couple of days hanging around Dealey Plaza, went to the Sixth Floor Museum, went by Oswald's apartment where the famous photo of him holding his rifle was taken, and the parking garage where Oswald was shot. Had some good food, too.

4th of July weekend I didn't have plans so I booked a week long trip to Costa Rica for a week, ended up staying for 2. Helps when your BFF has a place there. But I have always just randomly taken off when time permits. Beach, fishing, and golf trips. Being spontaneous is my motto YOLO
