I believe he's implying your post is bragging about laying off people, which when I read it myself I've come to the same conclusion. Nothing really nice about that nor something to be cavalierly discussed.

I took it as a statement of fact more than a brag.

YF will brag about a lot of things but I don't believe laying people off is one of those.

I dunno where you live, but Hammond Walmart had some steals on lawnmowers marked down on clearance. In the outdoor garden section as of yesterday.

Only idiots buy new. They depreciate 20% the moment you leave the store.

I'm about to be in the market for my first mower. I've been renting for years and a seller accepted my offer on a home today. I don't think I need zero turn. The yard is wide open and flat. What should I look for in a mower? and weed-eater?

The mfg hold to strict pricing until after July then they mfg's don't care.

Typically sept oct nov you don't have as much selection is the only downfall.

A basic zero turn starts at $3K and decent lawn tractors are $1600

I'm not the one bragging about laying off people-that would be you. But I guess since you are the lucky one keeping the job the others are idiots. Brag was a good dog until he died.

If you want a push mower, self propelled walk behind or small riding, then get it in late October. If you're looking for one of those zero-turn radius riding mowers, they'll never go on sale cheap enough to matter.
