Do you do it now or in the winter months to get the best price?

If you're buying new I doubt it matters.

There are usually 0% finance deals in Feb and March if you are buying new.

If you are buying used around Christmas time when the grass no longer needs to be cut and people sell shite to buy gifts.

I doubt prices chance much with the seasons unless you're buying a used one.

But I've never bought a mower before

I have Mexicans

Not true. I have bought a few zero turns each of the past few years and there are always good sales and rebates from the manufacturers in Feb and March as well as special finance offers.

I need a few more mowers to replace some old ones that are their last leg and honestly I expect to see some good used ones this Winter people dump off if oil prices stay down and people are out of work.

Weed eater?

Weed killer is cheaper. And the contrast of brown edges and green grass is cool!

It isn't a car or truck. How much money could we even be talking about with a mower?

The first time. After that it's just a sad end of an era feeling.

A basic zero turn starts at $3K and decent lawn tractors are $1600

I believe he's implying your post is bragging about laying off people, which when I read it myself I've come to the same conclusion. Nothing really nice about that nor something to be cavalierly discussed.
