I like the fact that it sounds like he blew up on his wife/stepson out of no where. Like he was a closet atheist and they just found out in their time of need.

Idiot

You really sound like a real POS in life, you definitely don't deserve a family with the way you treat people.

Also why are you talking down to someone about their religious beliefs just 100% assuming yours is correct?

Not only are you a complete a-hole but you are also extremely insecure about your beliefs as well.

Yes you need jesus and much more

What an insightful and nuanced idea. It kinda loses something when you explain it "there's no god, quit being a pussy lush". Maybe work on a second draft?

There is no God, but that was kinda harsh.

OP does not match this post. You start by telling us that you told the bastard and his mom there in no God.

Then

"I believe in God 100%"

I think the problem is that you are a fricking mental case.

Okay so then why do you tell someone who just lost someone that there isn't and make them feel even worse. One of the best medicines in life is religion. People find a lot of comfort with god. Let them find peace right now

All this does is push someone down as they try to stand up

This makes no sense

Please tell me this is a troll, I truly am praying that this is

I would have liked to see Jesus’ reaction when the girlfriend got exploded on the side of the road. Do you think he cringes or feels it or anything?

I am going to tell you some things, and while I goof off a lot, I am totally serious.

You have to let people handle their own religion. What you think doesn't matter as far as their religion goes. Especially in your own family. You are the husband and father figure. They need your help and support in every facet of their lives.

The boy has shut down due to trauma. He has shut down when he should be transitioning from boy to man. If you are the father figure in his life you have to step up for him. Gently, but firmly tell him that it is time to make some moves in a different direction. He either needs to throw himself into continuing his education or throw himself into developing his career. Either way, it gives his mind something constructive to occupy itself with.

You have to guide him in and help him through because he has not properly dealt with his grief yet. You have to help him be strong, and be strong for him when needed. He needs your help and guidance, not a kick in the nuts.

And last, you were a dick to everyone that counts on you to be a man for them. Whether you mean it or not, apologize. Different people in your family need you now, to help them build, or rebuild. Step up and get in the ring motherfricker.

Good luck.

My wife's cousin died in car wreck a few years ago. Him and my son were almost the same age, grew up together basically best friends. He was 18 years old. It was a nightmare for the whole family. My beliefs differ from my wife's and my son's but I wouldn't have ever thought about telling them to toughen up there is no God. You are just being a jerk.

You're raising a pussy. You need to toughen him up, explain that life is meaningless and love is an illusion that our brains create in order to further our genes.

What does drinking and being out of control have to do with believing in God? Does he drink Jesus juice?
