Do you get excited about eating? Or do you worry about: what are they cooking? Will it be any good?

Or do you wish you could just say no

You're the type of person who asks to make 3 changes to your dish at restaurants aren't you???

Nope, all of my friends can cook good. And it's usually the guy that is doing the cooking. And it's usually him cooking his "specialty". You're asking this question on a Louisiana site. We may be a fricked up state, but damn it we can cook.

I immediately start to worry about having to take a shite in their bathroom.

I don't really enjoy going to eat at other friends houses. They have things they like. I have things I like and ways to prepare those things. If it's friends and we wanna get together for dinner, we usually just head to a restaurant then back to someone's house or to a bar for drinks. I don't want my friends to go through the trouble of cooking something I may or may not like and then clean up after me. Just feels awkward for me the whole time.

Putting something on the grill or in the smoker and inviting us over for a ballgame or something is totally different. But just as a dinner date and hanging out before and after? Nah, that's not really my speed.

I get excited about drinking beer and hanging out with others more than whatever meal they’ve cooked.

I ask this before deciding whether to accept.

Sounds typical of a NERD.

My wife and I host dinner parties from time to time. They are sit-down dinners at the dining room table. We let people know the menu when we invite them. If anyone has a food allergy, or something similar, we prepare an option. The food is always multi-course and, along with the wine, exquisite! Last time we did Beef Wellington, though I call it Beef Wellesly.

At this point I’d just be excited to talk to people.
