All I am saying is politicians know it's easy to control us when we're separated and divided.... so they happily nudge us that way.

I'd LOVE to see this happen, but in today's society, I don't think it will ever happen... the best we can hope for is somehow, someway for both sides to start to come back to the middle and start working together, as opposed to just trying to "win", and their constituents eventually follow their lead... but I don't see that EVER happening, so yeah....

They were doing this way before Covid came around. Again, what power does a mask mandate give them?
Here's a hint dumbass. It doesn't. Mask mandates exist because of the Karens who pester the ever fricking shite out of city and state governments until they were passed.
Like I said, there are two types of people in this country:
Those who want to live their lives as they see fit, and those who want you to live your life as they see fit.
Mask mandates are purely due to the latter.
