We all know how quickly DFW is growing and how many problems Chicago has. At what point does DFW overtake Chicago not just from a population standpoint, but also from the standpoint of being Americas 3rd cultural hub?

I guess maybe we should define culture. I'm talking more about national influence and mindshare.

Pat, there's more out in the world than what you experience in the bubble known as Highland Park lol.

With that said, I would trade spots with you in a second lol.

Yeah no one cares about DFW except for people in the massive suburb of DFW, and maybe LSU grads that act like it's Mecca but that's all of TX. And please don't bring of the damn Cowboys, that 'America's team' shite is a running joke

HP has been nice. I just moved here a few months ago, so I just entered the bubble so to speak. I've lived In 4 different states, so I've been around a little.

LA and New York are the only cities with influence. Chicago is a cess pool and DFW is a land of asphalt.

ETA: I would put the Bay Area at more influential (for worse) as 3rd.

San Francisco and New York are vastly superior to Los Angeles or Chicago IMO.
