A real one? Probably like 5 the grade. Training? Usually a few times a week in my pajama’s.

physical altercation

Does this include shooting a perp in self defense?

Last physical altercation was growing up with siblings. Unless wrestling toddlers counts.

I grew up on army bases all over the world and fighting was like eating or breathing. I guess I got it all out of my system and haven’t been in a fight since I was about 14 or 15.

My dad was stationed in Germany and we stayed behind so my brother could finish his senior year in MS. On one occasion, I was in the sixth grade and was eating lunch in the cafeteria at a public school. Back then you couldn’t get up and walk around at all. So I’m just getting started and this black kid comes crawling up to me on his hands and knees and reaches up and puts his hand on my yeast roll and asks if he can have it. My army brat training kicked in and I took my fork and impaled his hand. From there we went at it, punching, kicking and cursing each other. We both had to go to the principals office and we were supposed to be suspended but they let me off and the black kid got suspended. We moved to Germany after school was over and I kept on fighting the good fight.

Yea what a maniac, I’m verbally offended, so I’m going to assault someone. Like the time I forgot to use my blinker, sorry guy, so you’re ready to physically assault me because you had to wait 5 extra seconds?

What if one of those “punks” decided to pull out some steel and start airing it out? The only punk is you by putting your family in harms way.

Some of you older ones may NOLA B-97's Right Reverend Shamus On You... He said to convince that sucka to turn the other cheek, and when he's looking the other way, you pick up a 2x4 and knock the devil out of him and set him back on the righteous path.

When I was 17. I quit fighting when I reached legal age. Didn't want to to to jail. My dad always told me. "If you get put in jail, I won't bail you out."

I am a proponent of young people being able to settle a dispute with fisticuffs. People need to know there are consequences for certain behaviors. A kid who fights doesn't need to go get a gun and shoot someone. Even if your opponent is a known bad arse, Take your butt whipping and learn from it.

Literally a few times a week, but I'm a cop. Most aren't knock-down/drag-outs. Mainly just scuffles trying to get them into handcuffs.
