It’s fascinating that you don’t realize he’s joking

We like to have a giggle at his bizarre jeans, vehicle debadging, living room climbing wall, etc. But the real gut buster in the club is his slavish devotion to the idea that his son is the next Adam Vinatieri.

Two years, probably 24 tournaments when it’s said and done. My son is effectively the team nucleus...this will be a big deal. It’s a bunch of bridges to burn.

This whole thread just to brag on how good Braxton is?

I don't know about those other topics with him but recall the soccer and baseball threads.

And douche bags like you are why kids don’t want to play sports.

If that's how you rationalize your kid focusing on "e-sports," go for it.

It’s complicated by him guest playing for the other club in town, so they can make regionals too. Coaches and refs are going to back channel this shite to death.

There is no end to the season. That is what weak parents don’t understand. If you have the talent and the drive it is a 5-7 year commitment to the coaches and the squad. Anyone who bails on their team is persona non grata in my city.

He’s been the center mid for 2 years, it’s not some metaphorical statement.

How much does the team charge you per season? I'm just curious.

No need to start drama before necessary....and don’t want the coach to subliminally hold it against the kid

There’s no coaching fee, registration was $125, the uniform kit, and we split tournament fees. Coach is Dr. so we don’t pay his travel fees either.

we typically make fun of both the kid and dad with the team and there's been a few instances of my players getting in trouble for bullying the kid in school or whatever

Are you stupid or something? Making fun of a kid... WOW. Go get fricked dude.

Travel ball isn’t a necessity. My kids will never play it and I’d put my kid against any of them. Having money doesn’t make you a better player. Raising money doesn’t make you a better coach. And having a ring doesn’t make you a champion, when every other kid in the state also has one.
