I leave them but place them out of the way, usually stacking them on top of each other. If someone wants to steal my flip flops, I’ll just charge it to the game.

The sand is hot as frick, I wear them until I get to the part of the beach that is getting packed by the waves, much cooler there.

You can get burns walking on the hot, dry sand.

Just returned from 30A's Seaside beach yesterday after a week there. I left my crocs at the boardwalk and had my water shoes at our beach site. I flipped the crocs upside down in the sand to reduce the sun's heat.

Now, if I was at Panama City Beach, I wouldn't leave the crocs at the boardwalk.

What kind of flip flops are y’all buying? I’ve never bought a pair more than $40.

What trashy beach are you going to? No, you do not leave personal belongings anywhere but at your spot.

Wait, you people have to travel to the beach? Stay in condos and brag about your vacation? How miserable.

As an avid beach goer, I take them off at the end of the steps of the board walk at the beach.

I had an old, rotten pair of OluKai sandals that were stolen.

Unless you’re staying at a holiday inn or motel 6 I don’t think you should worry. Usually condo buildings at the beach are not the kind of people that would steal.

After having my cooler and flops stolen on year at the blue angles, I’m extra aware of all my shite nowadays.

That place is like little Mexico now anyway so I rarely go to the beach..

Don't think I have ever worn flip flops my entire life. Looks uncomfortable. But I know where to get free ones now!

Someone stole my slides once on the boardwalk. I use $1 flippers now.

I wear cheap flip flops when I’m heading down to the beach or pool area and save my more expensive shoes for when they will stay on my feet.

Do people steal flip flops? That’s gross. It’s been on someone else’s bare feet

In the last 3 years I’ve had two pair of flip flops either stolen and taken accidentally (which I can’t imagine why anyone would want them)… it sucks.

It always surprises me how many people leave their flip-flops and sandals on the boardwalk before the sand starts.

This makes no sense. They’re neither bulky nor heavy so why choose that particular belonging to just leave sitting somewhere random?

Always leave them. Who cares if someone steals your cheap flip flops there are a million shops nearby at the beach to buy another pair at if you have to

My flip flops are like $80 so I’m leaving them.

The beach would be so much better if it wasn't for all the sand.

Used to. Now I just take them off and carry them to where I will be set up. Nice pairs tend to get stolen and I always try to keep a nice pair of flop flops
