re: When does the "it's finals week and I'm in a class I forgot about" dream stop?

IDK, but I keep getting that dream that I am in a class that I dropped and I missed every test for it so far in the semester
Sucks and I have to convince myself when I wake up that I actually dropped it

I still have it twice a week. But since starting chantrix a couple weeks ago, now the professor finds an excuse to chop my penis off, more often than not

The funny thing of course is that something always happens in the dream so that you can't actually take the exam.
Fortunately, I've never had this dream at the same time when I'm having the "teeth falling out" dream.

To me what's fascinating is how standardized the dream is across people.
I never missed a final or had anything remotely similar almost happen either. I imagine some have, and some haven't.
It's just crazy that something so abstract and what I would imagine to be a modern fear is so universal, without us really colluding on the idea... if that makes sense.

In May, it will be 23 years since I got my undergraduate degree...I'll let you know as soon as I stop having that dream.

God glad I'm not the only one

I'm 33 and I still have those dreams.

mine is that the semester is almost over and i suddenly realize there's a class I've been skipping all year.
The thing is, I know people who have actually done this by mistake.

I never got that dream when I was in school but I got it a lot after I graduated. The frequency tapered off gradually but 20 years later I still got one now and then. I don't know exactly when they stopped but it took a long time. How weird is it that everybody gets that dream?
The other one I used to get is the one where I have to go take my final in 2 minutes and I can't find the building it's in. (Because they always held finals in a place other than the room that the class was taught in.)

It's a math class I forgot about.. Every, damn, time. Differential equations or something. I'm about to graduate and I realize I haven't gone to class all semester.
It's actually a phenomenon IMO that we all have this same dream.

I'm 39, and the same. Not as much as it used to, but it'll still rear its ugly head from time to time.

In my experience it never ends. It's been over 30 years and had one in the last month.

I thought the only reason I had this dream was because I habitually skipped class. I was working two jobs while in school, so there had been real instances where I forgot about an exam until the day of. I'm 30 and had this dream last week.

You're going to post from the afterlife?

13 years out of school and it is still my most intense dream.

Graduated in 2003. Still have it somewhat regularly. I don't sleep worth a damn when I have it either.

It takes more than death to stop my trolling.

I've been out of undergrad for nearly a decade and I still have it a few times a year.
I've never had anything similar about law school, likely because that dream is far more applicable to how I managed life in undergrad.
