Gen xers were the teachers and administrators in schools enforcing idiotic rules like zero tolerance bullying and participation trophies in the 90’s-2000’s.

Half of Gen-X was still in high school in the 90's. Where do you get this ridiculous shite?

WTF? Do you even math, bro?
I was in college in the 90s. Gen X didn't make those rules. That was all Boomer hippie utopia crap.

What are the birth years of Gen X, Z and millennials?
Posted on 12/15/25 at 8:59 pm to deeprig9
History wasn't completely lost until Gen Z.

Gen-X has never cared and will care less about this.

I just forgot about taking those as a kid, then randomly remembered them one day, years later.

Gen X here...what did we do to wrong anybody -- besides the whole growing up as latchkey kids, paying off student loans and other bills and then caring for aging parents.
I feel like X got the biggest workload on all those fronts put together during a stretch when there was no policy discussion about the 'affordability crisis' or the 'student loan crisis.' You just paid your shite and kept rolling.

They won’t. Gen X are their parents.
The policies that they are coming of age into have been set by the boomers
Gen X hasn’t done anything wrong

Boomers will be almost extinct in ten years, then it's Gen X to blame for everything. Mark my words, it will happen. It will be because "we didn't care" and "we were selfish" and all that nonsense.

It's all good, man. Internet feuds have a real short shelf life.

Yep... I just hit 43 and that has happened to me.
Stoopid kids!
