32. Picked up my daughter's stroller over a snow bank in 2020 and my shoulder went out. Have done therapy, strength exercises etc. It's still not right

This. I'm in my late 40s. Last year a group of good looking girls in their mid 20's wanted to have a picture taken as a group outside a restaurant. Of course I was the closest one around. "Sir...could you please"...Def. not the 1st time I heard that.

I would have definitely hit on her some 15 years ago. The mind is still young but that gray hair doesn't help at looking young.

im 40 now and still feel fit as a fiddle. no major injuries, still as strong if not stronger than when younger. no aches and pains. wits are still sharp. run on 4-6 hours of nightly sleep.

maybe in my sex drive. not nearly as much as a horn dog. me and the mrs still get it on 1-2 times a week.

i consider myself very luck thus far.

EDIT: after reading another post i do admit my eyes sight is somewhat poorer now. I have a pair of reading glasses that i rarely have to bust out at night.

I did this on day 1 of a disney trip putting a kid in a car seat.

I was scheduled to skydive 2 days later and had to cancel.

Pretty much this for me. I started realizing that a good drunk on a Saturday night meant I still felt like shite at work Monday.

Give it 4-5 years.

I forgot to mention this:

When it's almost midnight on a Sat. night and I am falling asleep.

When I'm looking forward to go home on a Friday evening after a hard day's work rather than going to a local bar to de-stress.

The eyesight. A couple of years ago I remember bragging "hey I'm 46 and I can still read perfectly without reading glasses". 2-3 years later it went downhill as fast as a jet, I cannot read anything without my eyeglasses on.

Probably around 38, but the last few years have been going downhill faster. Turned 45 in December. Had to go to the ER and spend 3 nights in the hospital because my sodium levels were way to low and I ended up falling down and almost hitting my head.

After speaking to many specialists they finally determined it was my sodium levels. I didn't know that was a thing.

Never thought I would hear a doctor say drink less water and eat a lot more salt.

Mid 40s after 2 knee surgeries, torn bicep surgery, and a Pulmonary embolism in the mix of those...all within 3 years.

Yea...around that time.

PBS always has concerts by oldies acts during their pledge drives. Over the years they've gone from swing era to early rock and roll, to sixties and now seventies. Eighties kids, you're on deck.

Damn you started going downhill early.

Well I also found out a few years later that my heart is shite so that could very well be why I can’t go like I used to anymore.
