When did this board become so liberal and socialistic?

Just some observations I noticed lately:
1. Support a guy who pushed through the biggest government handout of all time.
2. A lot of support for those who are gay (see Joe Exotic).
3. A lot of support for polygamy (see Joe Exotic again).
4. Huge defenders of the freedom of speech (see the defense of racists to incite racism).
5. Huge defender of the right to assemble (see the anti-quarantine posts) as long as it's not black lives matter doing it.
6. Hell, I've seen the ACLU defended for standing up for a priest who held service.
7. Seen support for a guy who believes not just in global warming but in stopping it (see Navarro).
It would seem many here have become exactly what they fear most....liberal. I blame COVID.

The political board used to be way more libertarian. Back when being libertarian during the Obama years was cool. Now it’s no longer cool. So there’s that.
