2. A lot of support for those who are gay (see Joe Exotic).
3. A lot of support for polygamy (see Joe Exotic again).
4. Huge defenders of the freedom of speech (see the defense of racists to incite racism).
5. Huge defender of the right to assemble (see the anti-quarantine posts) as long as it's not black lives matter doing it.
6. Hell, I've seen the ACLU defended for standing up for a priest who held service.
7. Seen support for a guy who believes not just in global warming but in stopping it (see Navarro).

1. Plenty in here really dislike this bill, especially when people Who didn’t lose jobs will Get a check and people who never had a job will get an additional $600
2. Maybe people have realized who you choose to sleep with (as long as they are consenting adults) doesn’t ducking matter
3. No one has supported this. Thinking he was set up does not mean we support polygamy.
4. So freedom of speech is racist now?
5. So BLM and Antifa, groups that destroy shite and attack people are the same as thinking it’s bullshite I can’t go see a friend at night or go to a restaurant?
6. Ok, cool. Keep me posted.
7. You realize it’s possible for people to have good ideas and beliefs on one subject and be completely wrong on another? And I have no idea what you’re talking about btw?

I wouldn’t consider many posters here to be bleeding hearts, at least not the rational ones. So no.

Many in the Republican Party are fine with gay people. Sure, there’s still some on the far right who are intolerant, but you’d be surprised at how many on the left are intolerant too (mostly blacks and Latinos)

Since when has the defense of freedom of speech become a liberal ideology?

Again, since when did the defense of individual rights become exclusively a liberal ideology?

If you think this board is liberal...

Reminds me of smoking. Everyone just changed their minds all of a sudden.

They used reasons about health care costs and 2nd hand smoke...which was disingenuous, as smokers overall cost less money, and follow up 2nd hand smoke studies found nothing significant. Anyone heard about 2nd hand smoke recently? Wonder why? (BTW, not a gun owner or smoker, but propaganda is propaganda) They needed to get people to fear for their lives so that "his right to smoke" wouldn't work.

quote:

Investigators from Stanford and other research centers looked at data from the Women’s Health Initiative Observational Study (WHI-OS). Among 93,676 women aged 50–79 years at enrollment, the study had complete smoking and covariate data (including passive smoking exposure in childhood, adult home, and work) for 76,304 participants.
The incidence of lung cancer was 13 times higher in current smokers and four times higher in former smokers than in never-smokers, and the relationship for both current and former smokers depended on level of exposure. However, among women who had never smoked, exposure to passive smoking overall, and to most categories of passive smoking, did not statistically significantly increase lung cancer risk.

And you don't mean liberal, you mean progressive. Liberals barely diet anymore.

True and forgot the true meaning. Progs are far from liberal.

If you think the OT is some liberal haven, I wouldn’t turn on the tv or go outside.
