Why are you dressed nice for a conference call?

Lol because my customers are TMO/Verizon executives.

John Legere is a funny man

Edit: It's typically face to face with execs and webex with other teams on the other side of the planet.

This reeks of snobbery.

I am a grown arse man. If I want to go out in public on the weekend in cargo shorts, flip flops, and a wife beater, I will do so and not give two shits about what people think. I have nobody I wish to impress.

If I am going to walk around town/eat at a quick sandwhich shop:

I wear khaki shorts, boat shoes/sandals, and a pocket tee

If I am going to a nicer lunch spot:

Khaki shorts, tucked in collard shirt

If I am going to a decent dinner:

Chinos with button down, or dark jeans with button down

If I am going to slightly more upscale dinner

Chinos with botton down and blue jacket

That seems pretty decent. I dont wear gym shorts out unless it is to go workout.

Gotcha, my conference calls are just calls. No one can see me, and I work from home

Ummmm....I'm just saying, how hard is it for men to put on a collared shirt and decent pair of jeans

So, you are expecting all the men in South Louisiana to get out on a 95 degree day with a heat index of 110, in a pair of jeans and a nice collared shirt instead of a t-shirt and shorts?

Nah. You're bitter. 5+ years on a dating app will do that to a woman well past her prime.

I'm not saying that it's unattractive, I'm saying that wearing workout gear everywhere you go is lazy.

I just want more for the guys of my hometown. All the fishing shirts/camo/LSU tshirts in public are disappointing.

I don't see what's wrong with a fishing shirt, TBH. It has buttons. It can be tucked in. There's nothing different about it except a few more pockets.

Wear some non-cargo khaki shorts and a shirt with a collar. I'm sure she'd be fine with that. Is that too much to ask?

Very true. This is why I left the Wank and moved to North Dallas .

SELA folks typically dont give a shite about anything. That's the charm and downfall of the area.

This is kind of the point as well. People give up and it's sad. Dating apps..in public.. Maybe 5-10% here in BR look really nice and clean-cut

You'd think all the self-described clean-cut and fit folks would be happy about their exclusive status. Shouldn't you be swimming in affection from the opposite sex since you're so rare?

Some of the more miserable people on this board are the ones complaining about the way people dress and their physical appearance. You can buy that fancy blouse and dress in a size 2, but you can't buy happiness. Go figure.
