Just curious, what do you think of the way most of the people dress for an LSU football or baseball game? Do people get a pass for dressing in LSU T-Shirts and Fishing shirts that are untucked, shorts (cargo or otherwise), etc. or would you consider them not caring how they look?
Trashy.
Wear jeans or khakis and a polo or button down
You go ahead and enjoy your swamp arse you classy bastard.

What's wrong with wearing a jersey?

do you play on the team?
I guess wearing a coaches polo is out since we aren't coaches too.

It's cute when kids wear jerseys. I don't get the whole grown men wearing college jersey thing though. Again, whatever floats your boat.

I'd also love to see the Greek/GDI split of the posters in this discussion.

That would be fascinating.

From what I've read in the past few posts, it's trashy and unacceptable. The fashion police say you have to wear Polo shirts (tucked in of course), khaki's and dress shoes in order to show some pride in your appearance. At least I think that's what is being said.

At a game, it's fine. Just wearing it out and about, that's another story, but it's whatever.

Fitted Ann Taylor pencil skirt and light purple top from Banana Republic. I find that dressing nice makes me feel confident and empowered. When a man wears a nice suit, I am sure he feels the same way. It's been proven that attire can affect your mood or mental state. It's not necessarily about being a snob or high maintenance as a couple posters here were trying to argue. It's just that dressing better than sloppy is better.
I'm more of a visual person

Never rushed. Bank account just grew and allowed me to dress how I want

i may question the utility or purpose behind some articles of clothing. jerseys being one of them, and they're outrageously priced.

The GDIs try to look like shite in an act of rebellion. Or maybe they just don't know how to dress because no one ever hazed them properly.

The one's who have a job, and want to move up in that job, care..It's the slackers/takers that walk around Wal-Mart looking like vagrants.

I think that is precisely the point of this thread. We agree that whatever we sleep in is our de facto most comfortable clothes. Wearing those clothes to run errands would be awesome, and the only reason many of us don't is because we're worried about how people will perceive that outfit.
As I said previously, I work from home. I still put on khaki shorts and usually a popover/polo/henley shirt. It's not for anyone else, because some days I don't see anyone else.
