At moment I'm in Allen Edmonds shoes and belt, Ralph Lauren slacks, and a company issued polo. Based off this thread, I'm not dressed well enough. Where is the line?
No, that actually sounds attractive.

Didn't read this whole thread but I'm too busy judging other people on social media to care about my own appearance.

It's been proven that attire can affect your mood or mental state.
It absolutely does. People associate others by the way they dress and the way a person dresses plays a factor in the way other people treat them. If someone is dressed like a doctor, they will be treated different than if that doctor was dressed in everyday clothes.
When working from home, I still wear what I would wear to work because if I dressed like I would on a weekend in which I am not going anywhere, then I would feel less motivated because I then associate myself with a relaxed, not much going on type of day.

Y'all have fashion hazings? Y'all really are a bunch of queers.
No but we had suggestions on what to wear. There's not one person I can think of from my frat days that is sloppy or unsuccessful.
I'd dress up like an Easter egg too if I had a bunch of dudes trying to get me in my underwear all the time.
And I'm willing to bet that this guy is worth more than all your people from your frat days combined.

But I can see by calling me a queer how hard to you have try to look like you don't give a frick. It's kinda funny
Haha. Calm down.

We agree on this point. If a person judges or treat me a certain way by the way I'm dressed, that's really, really shallow and I have no use for them in my life.

Yeah I didn't read this whole thread but, decided to answer the OP. I don't care how I dress because I no longer need to. My career is not in sales and I have been married for going on 9 years. I still stay in shape but haven't gone shopping for clothes in over 6 years really. When I'm not at work, I typically just wear shorts a tshirt and a hat. Also I live in north east Louisiana not exactly a fashion hub.

Key word here. Shallow usually = insecure

Appreciating the finer things in life =/= insecurity or shallowness, but I do agree that thinking less of someone based on material things is definitely shallow and sad. I like nice things, but they aren't the priority.
