I'm shocked at the amount of people who think a Columbia fishing shirt is dressing up. The Bawification of America

For what an LSU one cost these days, it should count
But yea, I use fishing shirts for fishing and yard work.

confident and empowered. When a man wears a nice suit, I am sure he feels the same way. It's been proven that attire can affect your mood or mental state.
I feel confident, empowered and am in a good mood most of the time whether I'm at work dressed in business casual attire or shorts, t-shirt and tennis shoes on the weekend. I don't think your mood or mental state is affected by what you wear because I've been around some pretty crappy people who are dressed in suits and some really great, happy people who dress really casually (shorts, t-shirts, flip flops or tennis shoes).

Or maybe they just don't know how to dress because no one ever hazed them properly.
Y'all have fashion hazings? Y'all really are a bunch of queers.

I dont own these but if youre sitting down in City Pork, DiGiulios, or Chimes and someone walks in wearing this shirt, youre going to shake your head because he looks like crap?

Good for them. They don't feel the need to impress you

Some like them because they don't print easily and blend right in

My dad rocks a howling wolf tee and flip flops on the reg and I'm pretty sure I'll never get to that level of DGAF.

mmmmk whatever. It's not called a power suit for nothing. Goes back to diff things for diff ppl. Just was giving a personal perspective.

So do you want guys walking around in suits all day?
At moment I'm in Allen Edmonds shoes and belt, Ralph Lauren slacks, and a company issued polo. Based off this thread, I'm not dressed well enough. Where is the line?

No but we had suggestions on what to wear. There's not one person I can think of from my frat days that is sloppy or unsuccessful.
However, I have a few GDI acquaintances that are still trying to break $50K a year and they dress like shite.
But I can see by calling me a queer how hard to you have try to look like you don't give a frick. It's kinda funny.

From a couple years back.. Preppy might be thought of as dressing up, but "preppy" was a thumbing of the nose at convention and had its own set of rules. Official Preppy Handbook

If I wore a suit to work, my boss would call me into his office and ask if I had an interview that I neglected to tell him about or if I had a funeral to attend that day.
