Been several years since I haven’t done it myself. Years ago I paid $20. Just left Jiffy Lube and paid $107!!!!! I know they use the synthetic stuff now but damn.

Go to WalMart

ETA: I go to those quick service places with my fleet vehicle that company pays for oil changes. They are higher than giraffe pussy.

What did you expect to pay for synthetic?

What's expensive?

Do it yourself, you dont have to complain about paying an agreed upon price. Its magic!

When Ford decided it would be a great idea to put a giant bar in front of the drain hole, which wouldn’t be so bad if it wasn’t fricking plastic plug…. I don’t think I’d have bought the truck if I’d seen that prior to purchase.

Oh yeah and that damn 10 speed transmission is a piece of monkey shite.

When companies realized people don't change their own oil anymore.

Capitalism.

I do it myself too, and euro oil for my car would cost me ~$60. My wife's GMC takes 8 quarts. Full synthetic and new oil + air filter will run me ~$80.

Since people stopped listening to Big Oil and delayed their changes to every 5 or 6 thousand miles instead of the “recommended 3k”

I go to a gas station. They will do it for $15. It's not their thing if that makes sense. I give them $20.

I pay 40 bucks at Take 5, have to be vehement you don’t want the up charge synthetic crap. Might be worth it for some but I don’t think my 2015 Hyundai needs it.

I love these threads when half the OT claims you’re a pussy because you don’t change your oil yourself. If I’ve got the time and money to have someone do it for me, why would I do it myself?

I’m not an OT baller by any means but it costs me $65 to get an oil change and tire rotation and it’s done in 30 minutes.

45$ and out in less than 10 minutes. Been taking it to the same place since I’ve had the car.

Also depends on engine.

Mine takes 6 quarts so its more than some of my older vehicles that only took 5.
