"Alt-right" is such a dumbass term with loaded meaning. I'm continually surprised how people fall for this shite while simultaneously railing against mass manipulation

Typical white knight bullshite.

The answer can't possibly be that men are rationally reacting to the economic and social incentives that are applied to them. No, it must be that they are immature.

Protect most of your assets in a holding company. Income is harder to work around, unfortunately.

before the media went off the rails, the Alt-Right was a legit group

to break it down simply and cover all the subjsets, it's anti-feminist, anti-islamicist, and pro-Western culture

It's just another arbitrary category intentionally used to divide us. Clear as day.

if you think this is JUST a male problem, you are naive.

Society has a "self-centered" problem

Exactly. The article is right about a lot of things, but insinuating this is a man problem only is where he went wrong.

There obviously is a gender gap. About 58% of high school graduates and college students are women. Some of this is probably curricula and discipline driven. Some is probably the result of so many homes not having a father - which seems to hit boys a lot harder than girls (who still have a female role model in most cases).

Equality is a nice goal, but there seems to be a misunderstanding of maleness and even a characterization of it as toxic, violent, and ultimately less human.

One of the greatest ironies with this is the clash of our increasingly feminized society with the muslim world - which is not only male dominated, but really lacks much in the way of respect for the complementary role of men and women in culture.

Even stranger, some of the most feminized societies in places like Germany and Sweden are busily bringing in refugees from these cultures without expecting them to treat the women in their houses by the same standards of human decency to which we hold each other.

This is not a series of behaviors that can be sustained. Especially while educated women have relatively few children but the families which hold women down in positions of lesser status have a lot more children on average. Demography makes this unsustainable - if you want Sweden or Germany to still have Swedish or German culture 40 years from now.

when i get into discussions with progs i usually, early on, ask them if they can respond without their crutch responses. with feminists i always know that mansplainign will be their go-to when they are backed into a corner

it's the worst crutch ever, too. it's basically can be applied in any discussion with a male, b/c if the man has to explain his side in a persuasive manner, he's naturally going to be "mansplaining". the concept may be worse than cultural appropriation

I've never actually heard someone use it in real life. I'd laugh in their face if they did.

I'm confused. This seems to read like you're agreeing with the OP. Am I reading it wrong?

I really don't have a desire to live in Katy, talk with my neighbors about flooring, grass fertilizer, and home decor while drinking Mic Ultra in their garage, spend Friday nights at whatever chain restaurant has the best deal going, and have to jerk off in a dark closet since my wife that could stand to lose 20-30lbs is tired.

The OT's thought of what marriage looks like is really funny.

Exactly.

I'm a man... so if I have to explain anything at all, I'm by default 'mansplaining' whatever it is. That doesn't necessarily mean that I hold contempt for whomever I'm talking to.
