When did law enforcement give up on traffic violators?

And I'm not talking about BS speed traps. The road is full of dangerous careless and reckless drivers. Aggressive speeders, light running, tailgating etc.

You can blame Floyd and the race baiters.
No cop is gonna put his arse on the line for some stupid traffic ticket. They are gonna get through the day. Clock out and hopefully retire after 20 years or ride a desk.

it is really getting on my nerves too. I was driving in my own neighborhood the other day and a driver in an escalade sped up to drive around me to get to the light before me.

I always seem to get stuck behind a left lane blocker with Texas plates on the interstate. And I'm in Florida, it's not even that damned close.

In some cities: not worth the hassle. If either party gets aggressive it can end bad for both. Some of the cities with Soros DAs they may drop charges for the perps anyway so it isn’t worth cops potentially losing their life or freedom

The real threat on the roads is oblivious motherfrickers on their phones.
If cops were actually proactive about fighting crime, instead of waiting on the side of the interstate for it to come to them, they’d quickly fill their ticket books
Drive around. You’ll find them easily
I see at least 6 people a day on my daily drive playing on their phones on the interstate.
