The people you talked to probably worked from home and you were their last priority.

Ordered some silver eagles last year, signature required delivery. DEI Fed ex driver, driving a rented Penske truck left them at a neighbors house with no signature.

My cousin in New Orleans had the school ship her a replacement power cord for her kids school Chromebook. They wouldn’t let him sign for it because he’s not of age so he goes days more without being able to do homework.

FedEx can suck a bag of dicks

Both Fedex and UPS hire outside drivers. Also felons.

All shipping companies just turned to crap during Covid.

Why?

That is a damn good question. People just didn’t want to work anymore…still don’t, really.

I’m a very mellow guy. Rarely get worked up or lose my cool.

I lost my shite talking to someone from my local FedEx distribution office after several consecutive mishaps. Week long delays, delivering packages to wrong addresses, packages arriving damaged, fed ex truck peeling out across freshly laid sod…all happened in like a two month span

I ship spice samples to another state everyday to get them "tested", Using both UPS and Fedex... Ups is generally consistently on time within a 5 minute window for pickup. FedEx could show up whenever. Plus UPS drivers are much more courteous than FedEx drivers and care about thier job and image more than the FedEx guys...

Nice try but I'm a sharp observant customer that has been around for decades and know that my value as a customer isn't worth what it used to be. From eating out, shopping, taxes,..we are asked for more than ever and getting less.

i ordered something from homedepot that wasnt at my local store. I selected delivery to my house instead of store pickup. Today, i got a text message saying connecting to your delivery driver. I was like wtf is this. Then they texted me and said waiting to pick up your order. Then 15 mins later this woman shows up to my house with my home depot order. So apparently home depot isnt using any of the carriers. They deliver to the store and get one of these door dash type people to come pick it up and deliver it.

FedEx sells most of its routes and those route owners have been getting cheaper and cheaper with wages so they're getting lower quality drivers.

When did FedEx become so shitty????
when an H1B took over. I hate dealing with their support when I don’t want to bother our account manager.

There’s so many little stupid things about their system it’s baffling to think how long they’ve been around. One would think the kinks have been ironed out by now.

But the only option is ups so who’s better??

They all suck. UPS had my package in my city, them sent it to another city in another state only to return it back to my city where it was delivered 2 days later

I once had a FedEx and UPS package both going from Gulfport to California, shipped Friday. FedEx was in Arizona on Monday morning. UPS was in Jackson.

The people at the sorting hub in Memphis could not give less of a frick

They basically had to do away with the drug test for employment because they couldn’t find people that could pass it to become employed so it’s just people in a different dimension working

And a lot of diversity in management due to DEI policies as well

Shite ain’t the same when Fred was running things that’s for damn sure

That’s just luck of the draw, area ways. I really like our regular FX Express delivery and pickup guys. And our UPS pickup guy. Our FX Ground pickup/delivery guy is meh. I have absolute distain for our regular ups delivery driver.

I do like how UPS deliver and pickup both types of shpts. FX separating them pisses us off. Really sux on the FX Ground side.

Just sounds like they are using them like local couriers for local store pickup/delivery. Nothing about using fx or ups as that’s not what they do.
