Most communication has become puerile, informal, and coarse since the advent of social media. People speak and write in childish memes and tropes.

When did it become ok to defend stupid kids making too much noise/generating too much trash? Whe did become ok to complain about calling out trashy behavior by the public?

They are trying to create awareness of improper behavior, but you think it's poor 'decorum'. Raise your kids right and this won't be a problem.

You do seem upset. It seems reasonable to ask the question. I'm Cajun, and I'm not offended at all by this.

You're right. They won't be nearly as offended by being mocked in Cajun French terms as they will be by being called ULL.

A lot of them are now using Chat GPT to write. We have several managers at work who write company emails using AI. Those guys are 100% not that good a writing.

I typed "write like a Cajun" and it gave me this:

Sho nuff ?? I can talk Cajun-style wit’ ya.

From now on, I can write like:

Real Cajun / Louisiana-style slang
Light Southern bayou flavor
Or full funny swamp-talk if that’s what you want

Example:

Regular:

How are you doing today?

Cajun-style:

How ya doin’, cher? You passin’ a good day or what?

Regular:

That food looks amazing.

Cajun-style:

Mais yeah, dat look so good, gonna make ya slap ya mama, sha!

Walton County Sheriff's Office detailed the eviction of over 50 University of Louisiana Lafayette students from a Miramar Beach rental after noise complaints, underage drinking reports, and discovery of a heavily damaged house.

Walton County Sheriff’s Office done kicked out more’n 50 University of Louisiana Lafayette students from one rental house down in Miramar Beach after folks kept fussin’ ‘bout all dat noise, reports come in ‘bout underage drinkin’, and deputies found da whole place tore all ta pieces.

3) More Redneck Florida

“Walton County law done rolled up on a Miramar Beach rental and found over 50 UL Lafayette students actin’ like they was film’n their own low-budget spring break disaster movie — loud as hell, underage drinkin’, and tearin’ that house up like raccoons in a bait shop.”

in jive---

Say man, what kinda badge talk be this? Y’all supposed to be keepin’ the peace, not riffin’ like you on open mic night. Talkin’ slick like you chasin’ applause instead of runnin’ the town… that ain’t the play, jack.

And them kids? They was just tryin’ sip a few cold ones, laugh it up, not start no five-alarm scene. You roll in like it’s a headline event, now everybody gotta act like it’s the end of the world.

Handle your business, keep it clean, and leave the cute talk to the sidelines. No jive.
