There’s no winning. If a woman decides her ambition is to be a stay at home wife, she’s a gold digger.

My wife works but I don't think she's career driven at all. She's turned down offers to make more money because she prefers her cushy/easy job.

There are very few stay at home moms I would trust to take great care of the kids and house. My wife and I are both physicians and there are times I wish she didn’t work because it would be easier to manage our three children. That said, many of the non-working mom’s in our social circle don’t do too much for the kids and spend their days eating expensive lunches, shopping, and sometimes regularly day drinking too much wine. And a lot of them don’t strike me as loyal.

You might need to adjust the color settings on your monitor or phone... This is purple, not blue.

she can have a have a job, even a good job, without being what i've described. it's not an either/or thing and that's not to say there's anything wrong with stay at home moms.

You better get back on the forklift or you won't be able to make rent on your trailer, and your fat feminine wife is going to leave you.

What's wrong with those characteristics?

I personally cannot respect a person who totally and completely relies on someone else to provide for them.

Give me an independent woman that is capable of holding intelligent conversation over some needy housewife

My wife is CEO at a mid-sized company and we own 70% of another company she started and brought in a partner/manager for. I do pretty well myself, and we will be retired and doing well 15-20 years earlier than the average person. I appreciate that my wife is a career driven woman.

My wife's a strong, independent, career driven woman and didn't do all of that because she thought men wanted it. Your premise makes no sense. Women don't become independent for men, nor in spite of men. They develop independent thought on their own, through education, art, life, love...

I'm betting you were born and still live in a parish/county of around 10,000 people, think sushi is gross, and everyone in Europe are a bunch of commie queers.

I'm guessing Caldwell Parish.

So you want a woman who has a good job but didn't try too hard to get it.

What the frick are you on about anyway.

It happened cause men started saying go get a goddamn job! It also happened cause women gained rights/equality and wanted to be more than a sandwich making cumbucket. There are other reasons but basically times have changed. And one income supporting a family ain’t all that easy or fun anymore. Seems like u earn a triple digit income or somebody gave you a comfortable head start. Whatever it is, appropriate it. How can you not be aware of the world around you. You posted some “living under a rock” type shyt.

it takes a pretty insecure man to be afraid of having a woman who can get by without him.
