There's some YouTube gun guy that always talks about "philosophy of use." I didn't really think about it until I watched him a little, but there are totally guns I would call "drive-by guns."

Carry whatever you’re proficient with. First one to place an anatomically significant shot will usually win the encounter. That old dude has probably carried revolvers for decades.

I think everyone needs a judge in their truck with some small shot.

Mine has the 2” barrel and small grip so
It’s more concealable.

Wonder was the lead up was. Must’ve had a problem with someone beforehand for him to have his pistol in his hand like that

Definitely more concealable. The 4" is more suited for a belt holster which is how I carry. I have shot the 6" Model 19 and it was okay. I would like to try a 2" just to compare the balance between them.

Love them. They’re safe, easy to use and require some weight to fire. My wife doesn’t like semis because she’s not comfortable knowing if it’s racked or not…no problem like that with a revolver.

I bought my wife a Ruger SP101 .38 like this one probably 25 years ago…

.. she picked it out because she said the grip felt the most comfortable. She had a holster purse so it goes wherever she goes.

I like my colt peacemaker dad gave me years ago carried on my leather drop holster.

Carry it at the lease all the time. Easy to draw down on my side hanging like it does. You can even strap it to your leg. (I dont)... I've killed snakes with it for a long time. Shot a few pigs.

It's old so I don't ride around with a round under the hammer.

Context : The old guy is a 78-old Italian pensioner living in Argentina. He was driving back to his home in Buenos Aires and he got attacked by thieves who thought he was an easy prey. The 15 y/o kid who got killed had a toy gun. The local prosecutor doesn't intend to charge the pensioner, as it was a clear case of self-defense and he has a proper gun licence.

As semi autos do, if you test your carry ammo and practice.

Never carry a caliber that doesn’t start with anything other than a 4.
