Drive to Costco and get a hot dog and drink. Sometimes I splurge and get slice of pepperoni pizza and drink. When I feel like dicking around, I walk around the store planning my next grocery trip. I also fill up with gas if needed.

Carry my lunch cooler to the car, drive 1 mile down the street to a park, walk to an available bench, eat lunch and read a book...if it's nice outside.

When it's not nice, I sit in the car and read.

Usually go for a short walk then come back and eat lunch. Sometimes I run an errand if need be.

At my old job where I was forced to take an hour lunch every day I would just bring my lunch and go sit in the car and listen to Rush for an hour

When I was working by boss would take a two sometime three hour lunch starting at 11:00.
So I would eat at 11:00 then find an empty office which we had a lot of and nap till 1:00.

Our company is a butts in seats, 8 hour day, type of environment but they expect you to take an hour lunch

I work for the polar opposite type of person. They also live hundreds of miles away and I work in an office alone.

I like coming in, so I come in more often than not. Easy to do when you don't have the aforementioned grating coworkers.

I'll bring something with me and eat around 2pm while working. Or I'll walk down to grab something when I'm in the mood. I work at home maybe once a week during the current slower months.

I have interns during busy season, and there's thousands of paperwork that can't leave the building. All other employees (across the US) work from home full time. I house the goods here.

I try to eat at my desk because I hate going fight the lunch crowds of obese middle-aged heffers.

I have to get out of the office for awhile. That's my time to run errands. Sometimes I just drive around for a bit.

Run home,
eat a bite,
play with the dog for a while,
watch Fox News,
then head back to the office.

During the regular lunch hour, all the saleswomen from up front come in the break room and obnoxiously squawk about margaritas, their dipshit kids and blowing their husbands’ money on overpriced, useless trash. I don’t understand how any of them were able to convince a man to marry them and have kids much less frick them.

I used to do this at an old job that I hated. It felt unfriendly and weird but I didn't care because I hated being in the office.

Now I just grab a bite from the cafeteria and bring it back to my office. Working lunches are the norm now

I find some cheap eats off campus everyday, unless we have a catered webinar or seminar.

I haven't had a "lunch routine" since I was hourly in 2004. Then it was usually go grab some food with friends I worked with in the same building on post.

Now I bring lunch and eat at my desk. I set my own hours so lunch time changes day to day and is whenever I get hungry.

Only time I really go out to eat is when a vendor is in town and offers to foot the bill.

I bring mine 4 days per week and usually eat out on Friday. We usually cook a bunch on the weekends. I hate when we both spend $10-15 a day on lunch. Seems like such a waste to do more than once or twice a week.

Ya, I cook a big batch of something or smoke a big hunk of dead animal on Sunday. That's my lunch for the week usually with a salad.

We rarely eat out, but when we do it ain't cheap so I guess it balances out
