I've got two; the Dark Mark from Harry Potter on my left arm and a Mandalorian skull that is on Boba Fett's armour from Star Wars on my right arm. And yes, I'm a huge nerd. My wife has four; a thistle and her coat of arms on her arm, and two scriptures on her back.

I've had them since college and I barely notice them anymore. When someone complements me on them, I take a second and I'm like, oh I have tattoos. The Dark Mark tattoo goes over well at Universal Studios. I even got a free butterbeer from one of the workers one time.

As for the workplace, they are on my arms, so they are visible when I wear short sleeve shirts. I only ever covered them up when I was on an interview. After that, I read the employee handbook and if there is no rules about visible tattoos, I show them off.

You can’t convince me that face tattoos aren’t super trashy and incredibly dumb.

They are great if you want to increase your chances for exposure to hepatitis.

Ive got 3. I have to wear long sleeves to work everyday but it does not bother me. Like others have said, it depends on the location of where the person decides to put it. Most people I see come thru my work do have shitty tats, 90% of my friends have tats, who am I to judge. I know just as many shitty people with no tattoos than with. Shows how quick people are to judge a book by its cover. Honestly, I give zero fricks on this end. “No Regrats”
