I grew up going to Mass at the same church that served False River so nothing surprises me. Homemade jorts and wifebeaters everywhere. At that point you’re just thankful for any effort with the feet.

I am real. I remain spiritual. If you'd like to throw down on the Bible, I will whip you like Jesus did the moneychangers. I've studied the theology. I remain faithful. And if you have true faith, you know better than to try to tell me what mine is. Don't tell me I have to go through some motions surrounded by wanton hypocrites in order to live out a Godly life.

Since you want to be judgy, can you certify that you tithe to your church? Bible says you should. Or have you taken your eyes off the Lord when it comes to your money.

Apparently you didn’t read the part about judging those that are within. “Throw down”? That’s what you got from what I said? That’s sad. Forsaking not the assembling of yourselves together is quite scriptural and is there to help build you up in your most holy faith. Comparing what Jesus did in the temple has absolutely nothing to do with what we are discussing.

Jesus did not say “forsake not assembly.”
Don’t be hypocritical and obtuse.
You seem like a good guy. You seem to want to be spiritual. But if you throw a Pharisee attitude at some one, you are going to get judgment back.
There was a time when I thought much as you do. Long experience has taught me different lessons.
Go in peace, my brother. Serve the Lord.
Just don’t preach to me about my walk.
Don’t be hypocritical and obtuse.

Sir, I am not trying to preach to you, but to get you to see that scripture is full of teaching on why Jesus is the head of the church and that we as Christians need each other to admonish and to exhort one another. I will leave this with you and will say no more. Colossians 1:18. We all walk out our faith daily and hope you do well in your walk. Peace
