When my wife goes to Central Market from our gated community she prefers to drive the Navigator over the Audi .

I tried getting the wife to get a minivan. She said no right away. I don't understand. There are some kickass looking minivans, and they are more comfortable. And you can get a tricked out one with all the bells and whistles for less than a basic SUV.

If you get the chance for a rental vehicle, get the minivan. Wife was the same way until we got a minivan for a weekend, within a few months we puchased our own.

and, in point of fact, I live on 4 acres in the sticks. In the "standard" Acadian style home, with a "cookie cutter wrap around" front porch that I'm sure you would scoff at given your insecurity.

and I own a P/U truck. My wife drives said generic white suburban, but not cause shes a travel ball mom. Shes a large animal vet and needs the suburban for her vet box, DR equipment, and ultrasound. And cause she...wait for it...LIKES IT.
Shocking isn't it?

and we have no kids. Just me and wifey, 8 dogs, 4 horses, 3 (sometimes 2) cats and our little slice of South La. heaven.

go get some more ink and drink a craft beer. You'll feel cooler and more unique.

Honda Pilot ain’t bad. Especially since it has 3rd row and it’s 30K cheaper than a Tahoe/Suburban. Better gas mileage holds value longer.

some women refuse to get a minivan?

They are both a fairly efficient way to carry gear/stuff and several kids..

Apparently you dont have kids.

We purchased our used 2014 Suburban with 60k miles for $24k. Odyssey's with 60k miles and less than five years old go for the same price.

We have bucket seats and leather with a third row that seats all of the kids. It has all of the space of a minivan without being a minivan.

The new Suburbans that are like $70k new... those are ridiculous.

I feel like if you are going to criticize someone's vehicle, you should identify your vehicle so we can judge you.

Incidentally, my ex-wife had a Tahoe. That mofo was nice as hell. I enjoyed driving it very much (the Tahoe).

I have a 2003 Chevy Tahoe that I have owned and driving since May of 2004.

Best vehicle I have ever had. I will not part with it until it is totally unfixable and dead on the side of the road

Its a great car, but no room in the back

it’s 30K cheaper
its like $10k difference after you filter through the Chevy MSRP/rebate BS

holds value longer.
I dont know about that. Tahoe hold value very well, but again dont use the MSRP from chevy as a starting value because even people that dont haggle, dont pay that price

It's the keeping up with the Jones's vehicle.

That's not to say they're not great vehicles, because they are. But I always laugh watching a 5' woman trying to load up an infant in a car seat into her brand new Suburban. It'd be so much easier in a minivan, but that bitch Ashleigh down the street got a Suburban and by God she's going to get one as well.

I want one next, have a JKU with lift and 35s now (as mentioned above) but cant tow shite with it. Want the towing capacity and 4wd, only have 2 kids and not having anymore so will likely go with Tahoe/Yukon over the Burban.
