What's up with the water park east of LC?

It's near Iowa, LA and can be seen from I-10. I saw that thing slowly get built over the past ten years or so. It has a few slides, some cabana style buildings, etc...but I have never seen any signs of activity around there. What's up with that place?

I've heard it's tied up in litigation. The water filtration system he bought didn't pass the health department standards. Basically, it wouldn't catch the fake turds they used to test it and he has no money to replace it so he is suing the manufacturer or whatever.
Who knows how true that is, though. It's just a rumor a few people told me.

I've actually been wondering this for years. I pass by it pretty regularly and I've never seen any work being done, just a depressing half finished water park.

But it looks like it's missing a lot of shite you'd need for a water park. Parking lots, bathrooms, fencing, etc. Just slides in the middle of a field.

it's kind of funny but sad at the same time
last i heard he put up all that stuff and it wasn't close to regulatory muster
he was basically like "Wait this is regulated?" and nothing has been done since

What did the fake turds look like? Were they solid or disolvable?

Bottom line: some idiots built the water park in the middle of nowhere.
Thanks for that helpful link, that clears up the mystery.

I put real turds in it the other day. Didn't hang around to see what happened

I don’t ever think it would never be open because of these permits, budget problems and the location being “lonely” far away from cities.

I just think it's unfair to shut down a park Bc of a turd unless it's really lifelike.

I heard they couldn't get water there. Which you'd think they'd check when building a water park

I may use that for my memoirs. I'll let you know.

That was the rumor here a year or two ago. Guy was fighting the parish on getting water piped in under the interstate. Couldn't agree who would pay for it.
