What's up with Amazon paying you to take an Echo Dot?

I've found several products on Amazon that are actually cheaper when you bundle an Echo Dot. Am I missing something? Here's an example: Eufy 15C Robot Vacuum for $280. But then if you switch the "style" to the one with the Dot bundled, it's $45 cheaper.

Yeah guys, I know Amazon's plan with Alexa. My question is about the pricing. You can get the robovac with the echo bundled, and throw the fricking echo in the trash and still be $45 ahead.

Thanks for completing the steps here. I see so many of these and I start down the list and get half way into a project and realize I've wasted a lot of money and time and can't find the missing step to profit.
