I've never had loaded tees, only place similar to that type establishment I've been to is Smoothie King.
I have seen more pre-made fit meal places open up though.
But I have the same answer for both, I see nothing wrong with people opening up a business there's obvious demand for. And I don't see anything wrong with people going there and buying meals/drinks/supplements if that's what it takes to get them healthier if they would otherwise do nothing but eat a McRib with a large fry and "diet" coke

Their end game is not to sell teas. They want others to "be their own boss" and open up stores under them so they profit by doing nothing.
They all want to be at the top of the pyramid.
Betting on Zero is an absolute must-watch.

I don't have a problem on a personal level like it keeps me up at night, but I have a problem with the company as a whole preying on naïve people who have no idea they're being taken for a ride (the shop owners).
This won't be sustainable this go round like it wasn't the last go round. Just like cupcakes, froyo, Viet tea, etc. on every corner all started to phase out as the fad wore off and only the strong survived. Only difference is those other businesses aren't pay of a MLM and can adjust ordering and whatnot when they see business start to die off.
From what I recall, I believe the shop owners for Herbalife are required to purchase X amount of product on a reoccurring basis regardless of customer flow, so they end up out a lot more money than a regular business owner who can control their ordering would be.
Its been a while since I watched the doc, though. I know for sure this is the case for other MLMs, such as LuLaRoe Leggings. These ladies end up with thousands upon thousands worth of product with nobody to sell it to because its worth about $1 per legging... and the company required them to purchase X amount per month regardless of sales.

It's crazy.. Places like Main Squeeze could post a cup of "#natural cat shite" on instagram and get 3,000 likes

No they aren't. All that at home bullshite is MLM, but these tea places have been getting more and more popular for the last 4 or 5 years and they aren't MLM.
They aren't healthy in the least though for the most part

Main Squeeze and The Big Squeezy are both legitimate local companies making juice out of actual real fruits. Herbalife uses powders and is an MLM. They are not the same thing, though I agree it is such an overpriced product.

I don't feel sorry for people who in 2021 still have not figured out how MLMs work and lose their arse. That level of stupidity deserves the punishment they get.

They are popular with people who don't know better, but they are still Herbalife products and yes the end goal is for the shop owners to make the money for their uplines.
What makes MLMs different from pyramid schemes is that they sell an actual tangible product. Nobody said they don't sell shakes and teas. But Herbalife is an MLM and the entire goal for the company as a whole is more at the bottom making more for the top.

Their Herbalife smoothie and tea storefronts. Evidently, when you get high enough up in your MLM business, Herbalife lets you set up a storefront to sell smoothies that you make there.
They aren't doing their MLM to the customers there, I don't think.
