Fermented tofu in Shanghai. I almost hurled walking by the food cart. Crazy thing is the Chinese had an extremely long line to buy it. :hurl:

20+ years ago I hired a car to take me to a remote part of the Great Wall in the Chinese mountains. On the way up I had him pull into a gas station so I could go to the bathroom but it turned out to be long abandoned. I pushed on past some bisqueen and found the hole in the concrete floor you're supposed to use. It burned the hairs in my nose, it was the a-hole of the earth.

Car that a young guy had ran a hose to the exhaust to commit suicide that wasnt found for two weeks.

Family had car sent to our shop to redo the interior because no one would attempt to clean. We didn’t work on it after the smell was stilll unbearable after being left opened up on the back lot for like two weeks.

In almost 24 years as a firefighter/EMT, not even dead bodies recovered after days have smelled as terrible as a patient that was hemorrhaging from his rectum. The entire bed was covered in it.

There used to be an animal rendering plant that you could smell from downtown Shreveport if the wind was right.

Why did you have to put this.

Would have skipped right over this word I can’t pronounce.

Buy you had to go ahead and add the second line.

My dog finds some weird arse substance in our neighborhood to roll around in and it infuriates me. I'm about to strap a go pro on him to find out what it is. Idk but its straight foul.

When I was young I got sprayed by a skunk (long story)….absolutely sickening smell that you can’t get away from.

Katrina freezer, multiple occasions. We would meet people at their house after they were away for months and every single one of them felt the need to open the freezer and fridge even after we told them not to.

Years ago, I threw a shrimp boil for my wife’s (no pics) birthday. I used a big plastic tub to thaw shrimp before the boil. Overserved myself and forgot about the tub of water with some shrimp in it. Went to work Monday still forgetting about that tub on the side of the house.

Monday afternoon, wife gets home from work first and said that the smell hit 5 houses away. I told her to drag it down the street and dump down storm drain. Instead, she pulls it inside and dumps it down tub. Our house smelled like a crime scene for about a week.
