Co-signed a loan for my girlfriend to get a car. We broke up, she moved back out of state and I had two cars.

Hired a corrupt contractor.
I'm telling you... when you hire a contractor, do not be embarrassed to snap a rubber glove on that SOB and make sure he is insured and does reputable work. NEVER trust his website or the fact that he talks a good game.
The guy who ripped us off had ripped off a SH*T LOAD of people (con men are not stupid, that's why they are good at being con men)... but people are too embarrassed to report that to police. I was able to get 9 people to join me in filing a police report.
Oh... and lawyers can't help you... you're just throwing good money after bad. If a bad contractor sees that he's about to lose a civil case, his business will *poof* go out of business and reemerge as some other named company.
PAINFUL 2 years of my life. POS is dead now (police won't tell me of what cause). The police were in his shite, we were talking to banks that were blocking his funding... might have offed himself, might have OD'd.

Just spent too much instead of save, really. Also, giving money to family who have major issues.

Built a new house that was to big. Keeping up with the Jones' and realized nobody really gives a shite. I ended up selling the house, drastically downsized, and payed off my vehicles, and sold my bass boat. Finally enjoying some financial freedom and it feels damn good.

2 of them
1. Had friends who were in corporate branch of President Casino, stock was sitting around .40 and they told me they were about to close in on a casino license in Pittsburgh.
I was going to dump 25K of 401k into it. It went all the way to $5ish. Guy with merrill lynch(handled our 401k) talked me out of it.
2. Bitcoin was talked out of it by a guy who's turned himself into a self made millionaire. My bad, but it wasn't from a shite head who doesn't know how to invest.

I rode my situation out - but I’m sure I switched from certain mutual funds. That was almost 20 years ago and I’m glad I had time to recover

Bought a house on the westbank instead of a similar house in Mid-City two years after Katrina. My house's value has barely changed but the Mid-City house is worth 4 times as much as what I could've bought it for.

I let my best friend talk me into investing a little over $8K (that I put on a no-interest credit card)into us starting an online poker room/casino in 2007..... he prodded me for months before I finally gave in, knowing better the entire time.
Thankfully I was young and recovered quickly & paid off the money before the 0% interest offer expired, and I learned my lesson about following my gut and my brain about investments, but damn it was rough throwing every bit of my disposable income at that debt.
