I don't believe it's been said yet, and honestly I recognize it's not the WORST city in America, but one place that I traveled to and couldn't get away from fast enough was Gainesville.

New Haven was pretty shitty too although I wouldn't put it near the top by any means. So is Vineland, NJ.

I’m going Washington D.C. It’s a swamp full of snakes that represent us and I wish we could bulldoze the whole city.
My second place vote is West Frankfort, Illinois. Just can’t see how anyone lives in that dump. Food sucks there and the girls are ugly to boot.

Bakersfield is really bad. Had to live there and Clinton Iowa for minor league baseball and both places are awful

Yes. Detroit is on the rebound somewhat, especially downtown. Gentrification is SLOWLY happening.

I have heard that Pine Bluff, AR is the Gary, IN of the south. It just isn't big enough to be on anyone's radar.

It's an old, dead manufacturing/industrial suburb of Chicago that the middle class abandoned decades ago. It's quite possibly the shittiest place in America with over 50k residents.

I’m glad you brought Gainesville up. Went there to watch MSU play Florida in 2010 with a group of college buddies. Look I’m from small town Mississippi I know I’m calling the kettle black here but Gainesville Florida is the trashiest, most ugly town/campus I’ve ever seen in my life. The women there are so hot though it’s makes you forget about the rest of it though

I have been to all lower 48 states. Gary, IN is the worst. I have worked in Portland (nice), Detroit,& Chicago (some good some bad). Gary is straight up nothing nice.

I legit remember driving through Gary when I was 10 and we were told not to stop, and if you had car trouble to stay in tour car with flashers on because troopers covered that area for help because of carjackings
